Mykonos is definitely the most fashionable Greek island
I once bumped into Olivier Rousteing as we squeezed our way through the town centre’s crowded streets somewhere between 1 and 2 am. It’s one of the first things people notice on their first time to the island, how well dressed everyone is.
I get asked a lot what to wear to Mykonos and thought I’d make a quick blog post to show some of the things I bought for my holiday. My personal style is rather minimalist. I really like clothes that give me the option to dress them up or down with the type of shoes and accessories.
My Mykonos Summer Haul
- Reiss Rima Strapless Asymmetrical Dress Black
- Seafolly Deep Plunge White Swimsuit
- Rolla’s Eve Dress
- Reiss Tosca Belted Shorts Tea Rose
- Reiss Amara Cross-back Swimsuit Persian Blue
- & Other Stories Buckled Leather Sandals Black
- River Island Crochet Bikini
- Ralph Lauren Sunglasses
- H&M Body with Lacing
- Love From Cyprus Kamares Slides Black
One of my favourite buys this season was this amazing wide-brimmed straw hat that says Just Married from Etsy seller Peppermint Rock. It can be customized to say whatever you want, as well as the choice of satin or pompom band.
I also loved this blue and white striped dress from Rolla’s (#3), which not only looked made for Mykonos it was so light and comfortable I wanted to wear it every day.
Reiss summer collection this year was amazing, I bought a few things from them. I also recently fell in love with & Other Stories, where I got these super comfy black chunky sandals, #6. I get sore feet from high heels quite quickly but lasted all night in these, easy.
The Greek sandals in #10 are by Love From Cyprus, who I recently interviewed. In case you missed it, you can read it here and use the discount code for 10% off. I found them to be so versatile and also wore them everywhere.
Lastly, I’m so happy I bought this pineapple inflatable from Sunnylife! Like the floppy straw hat, inflatables in the shape of pineapples, flamingos or unicorns were trending all over Instagram and Blogs this year, I couldn’t resist!
Superb article. I have shared this upon my twitter and fb.
